Reuse materials  

  • Leverage existing research or data to understand your users and their needs 
  • Understand what delivery channels and technology are needed to create the service and if any existing delivery channels and technology can be leveraged; talk to your ICT experts at the outset to help with this 
  • Use the Feedback Assist widget for customer facing websites 
  • Find opportunities to use existing government data in the service (while respecting users’ privacy) 
  • Before reusing or repurposing any technology, research, data or other resources, check that it is allowed to be used 

Build for reuse 

  • Consider if any parts of the service can be built for reuse 
  • Contribute components, research, guides and tools to the Design System
