The first round of reporting on Digital Government shows that agencies are making good progress in the area of designing new and improved digital policies and services.

Government clusters are focused on consolidating digital platforms to build simpler, more coherent user journeys. Some agencies are successfully experimenting with design thinking to develop next-level services and policies.

There is more work to be done on use of common digital standards and platforms, and on making government’s digital channels more accessible for everyone.

We will support greater cross-cluster collaboration to design services that are ‘joined up’ around the needs of customers.
