Design System
The NSW Design System is a way for people in government to design products and services that are distinctly NSW. The system consists of working code, design tools and resources, human interface guidelines, and a vibrant community of contributors who help create consistent, user-focused experiences for our customers.
Getting started
Begin with our getting started page where components are available as code, and in Figma for wireframing and prototyping. Or browse the digital styles and component library below.
Digital styles
Use these digital styles for a distinctly NSW Government look and feel. You can find design assets for these digital styles in the Design System Figma UI kit.
Component library
Components are the reusable building blocks of our design system. Each component meets a specific interaction or UI need, and has been created to work together to create patterns and better user experiences.
Contributing
From proposing a design in our community, to submitting code in GitHub, it’s your contribution that ensures the Design System is a vital part of your project success.
Community
Share your ideas, insights and learnings with others and collaborate on developing better solutions to common design problems.
GitHub
Submit code to match new patterns, suggest improvements to the design system and raise bugs for our development team to consider.
